I was born and raised in Wabash, Indiana and I graduated from Wabash High School in 1989. I then began my college career in the Architecture program at Ball State University for several years, before changing my major to teaching and graduating in 1994. This is where I met my wife Kristi who is also a teacher at Liberty Intermediate School (6th grade). We have two children, Kierstin and Drew who both are "juniors" this year at different schools. My daughter, Kierstin, graduated from Chesterton and then Ball State University, and is in her third year of teaching elementary music in LaPorte. My son Drew graduated from Chesterton and is starting his junior year at Indiana University to begin his degree in health and physical education. I am starting my 24th year of teaching and have been teaching at Chesterton High School for 14 years. In addition to teaching I also coach JV Girls Basketball and Varsity Girls Golf. Prior to teaching here, I taught at Logansport, Indiana for ten years where I taught 6th grade math for five years and then various levels at the high school for five years. |
