Navigation

Google Sites automatically adds each page of your site to the navigation box in the sidebar of your page. The pages are listed in alphabetical order, except for Home which will always be on top. In most cases this is fine and it's recommended that you leave the links as they are. However, there are times when you may want the pages to your site listed in a particular order. For example, because this site is a tutorial, I want the pages to be listed in the order in which you will probably be performing a particular task.

As you can see in the image to the right, even though I created "Setting Up Your Site" FIRST, as I added new pages Google Sites rearranged the links into alphabetical order, which caused Setting Up Your site to be listed UNDER Photos and Clipart. (Page names indented and under Photos and Clipart and Setting Up Your SIte are subpages and put in their own alphabetical order.) Since you will need to set up your site before you start adding images to it, I rearranged the order of the links.
